About the Team
Our national Insurance & Health
practice combines deep industry knowledge with local expertise and the highest
standards of client service. Our team of more than 300 specialist lawyers has the
depth of experience and agility to help our clients, both in Australia and
overseas, to navigate the complex risk landscape and support their insureds.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, an
opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join our Melbourne Insurance &
Health team working on a range of health law matters. The role will provide
opportunities for involvement acting for hospitals, clinics, medical and allied
health professionals and other health care providers in a variety of claims,
disciplinary proceedings, litigated proceedings and coronial inquests. You’ll
collaborate with a team of specialists in their field headed up by Hubert
Wajszel and Scott Shelly – principals who are committed to empowering you
and your career progression.
About You
If the following sounds like you, we
would love to hear from you:
- you are an experienced practitioner (3-6 years PAE) in the health law space;
- you can efficiently manage your own file load;
- you enjoy building client relationships and achieving excellent outcomes;
- you are a problem-solver who values collaboration and understands the importance of strong working relationships.
