About the Team
You will join a tight knit and
collegiate Technology team comprising 9 people who provide IT support to the
firm nationally. Reporting to the Head of IT, with a dotted line to the
Business Projects and Transformation Manager, you will work in a fast-paced and
service-focussed team.
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Data
Analyst to join our team. The role will maintain data storage, assess database
design, and gather, organise, and interpret data and statistical information
based on the data. As well as servicing
client reporting needs, the role will be key in providing insight which can be
used to make business decisions and drive positive client outcomes.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- providing
information from existing data sources, using a variety of reporting tools
for all company divisions;
- providing
standard and ad-hoc reporting, including key performance indicator (KPI)
reporting, metrics definition and data collection to support KPIs;
creation and maintenance of reports and Dashboards;
- managing
data to support reporting, including the creation and maintenance of
databases, through the use of MS SQL Server, SSRS/SSIS;
- analysing
data and writing meaningful reports using SQL Server; and
- designing
and developing customised web dashboards for our practice management
system, Aderant.
Please note that we are open to
permanent or 12-month contract arrangements.
About you
We’re seeking someone with:
- relevant tertiary qualifications;
- experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in a law
firm or professional services environment;
- extensive experience developing reports with MS
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), T-SQL, and other reporting tools,
including a high level competency with SQL scripting;
- hands on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Power
BI (including data modelling and DAX);
- extensive experience designing and developing
dashboards;
- experience with Aderant or similar Legal PMS
would be advantageous; and
- experience with Clio ShareDo or similar Legal
MMS would be advantageous.
