The Team
As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our national billing team, comprising two other Billing Specialists and under the supervision of the firm’s Manager of Billing and Practice Management Systems. You will be working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about their roles and dedicated to supporting each other. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will be valued and nurtured.
The Role
The Billing Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the firm's billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining client satisfaction. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Review and verify billing data, ensuring compliance with firm policies and client service level agreements.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries regarding invoices.
- Maintain and update billing records and client information.
- Collaborate with legal and administrative staff to streamline billing processes.
About You
If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you:
- proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- previous experience using Aderant Expert software;
- excellent attention to detail;
- proficient in Excel; and
- strong communication and interpersonal skills.
