Our national
Insurance & Health practice combines deep industry knowledge with local
expertise and the highest standards of client service. Our team of more than
200 specialist lawyers has the depth of experience and agility to help our
clients, both in Australia and overseas, to navigate the complex risk landscape
and support their insureds.
About the
Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor/Associate to join our team in Perth. This position will involve defending
a variety of claims brought against directors, officers and companies across
the financial services, construction, property, and allied health industries. There will be an opportunity to
work directly with most local and international participants in the financial
lines market, and
to be involved in a diverse range of litigated and non-litigated matters. You’ll
collaborate with a team of specialists in their field headed up by Toby Barrie
and Jason Hart – principals who are committed to empowering you and your
career progression.
About You
If the following
sounds like you, we would love to hear from you:
- 2+
years' PAE;
- previous
defendant insurance experience (preferably professional indemnity);
- ability
to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
- effective communication skills; and
- you are a problem-solver who values collaboration and understands the importance of strong working relationships.
